Japanese manufacturer of high end valve amplification. The company was founded in 1979 by Hyodo-san, an ex-Luxman engineer, was originally a known as Kouri Denki Co. and made electronic parts and PCB's, the company branched into the manufacture of amplifiers for the sound reinforcement market in the 1980's with products branded as KFH and does indeed still do so in a small way, entered the home hi-fi market in 91 and changed it's name to Leben later that decade.

LG Electronics
One of the biggest of the South Korean trading and manufacturing conglomerates and the electronics division has its hands in almost every type of consumer and professional electronics imaginable. Formerly known as Lucky-Goldstar, although it was mostly sold in the west as just Goldstar and for a time it attempted to brand their upper end hi-fi products with the Fantasia brandname.
