In-akustik
German manufacturer that is traditionally a manufacturer of mid & high end hi-fi, AV and car cables, interconnects and related accessories but has more recently added home audio & video installation products in addition to ambient lighting equipment to their range. The company also runs an audiophile record label as s side-line (see: In-Akustik)

The company was founded in 1977 and is part of the BRAWA group, acted as a local distributor of hi-fi products up until about 2005, started selling cables under the Monitor Cables brandname around 1980 that for a time were amongst the best known cable products in Germany, and In-akustik added a cheaper line of cables and accessories under the Eagle Cable name around 1992. In 2004 the company stopped selling under the Monitor brand and started selling their cables under their own name and at the same time divested the Eagle Cable range into a separate company. In the latter half of the decade the company added lighting products to their product line.

USA based loudspeaker manufacturer, makes both home hi-fi & AV speakers and automotive speakers, their current line-up has been getting rave reviews BTW. The company is currently a part of the Harman International group but was originally founded in 1968 by Arnie Nudell as Infinity Systems and during the 70's and 80's produced a wider range of audio products and we have minimal info on The Infinity Airbearing Turntable, the Infinity ME10D and the Infinity Tonearms archived here.
