The company was founded in June 2012 by Samuel Furon but he had been making products under the Ocellia name since 1999 and took over the fabrication of the Phy-HP drivers in 2011 after the untimely passing of Bernard Salabert. Sister company of L'Atelier-Audio.

German business that manufactures high end loudspeakers both conventionally baffled and horn speaker, they have a few unusual features including the fact that they all have a plasma tweeter and we think the company is actually the last man standing when it comes to the manufacture of such, but plasma drivers are extremely fast but difficult to manufacture. But Lansche also have a range of speakers that are unusually enough semi-active, i.e. the mid range and tweeters are driven by a conventional external amplifier but the bass range gets additional amplification, this is because a bass driver represents a completely different load to the rest of the system. Company founded in 1990 by Rüdiger Lansche as "Ingenieurbüro Lansche" but changed its name to the current one in 2003.
