Jade Design
USA based trading company that sells Asian sourced audio and home theatre products such as separates and loudspeakers at the budget and mid range sectors both under the Emotiva name and the nominally separate Sherbourn brand, in addition the company sells monitors under the Emotiva Pro label. The company also owns the Bob Carver brand and have sold valve amplifiers and loudspeakers under that name. Jade Design was founded in 2005 by Dan Laufman and started selling under the Emotiva brand later that year, acquired the trademarks and goodwill of Sherbourn Technologies in 2010 and introduced the Emotiva Pro brand in 2011, initially the Emotiva Pro had been touted to be a higher end line of home theatre electronics from the company but after the Sherborn name was purchased it was re-targeted as a pro audio brand. The company purchased Bob Carver LLC in June of 2013 although when this was written in October 2013 the sales of Bob Carver branded products had been discontinued, although that is believed to be temporary.
