Japanese manufacturer with production factilities in South Korea and Indonesia as well as its home country, makes guitars and basses, high end lines are sold under the ESP and Navigator brands while budget and mid-range guitars use the LTD, Edwards and Grass Roots monikers, note though that in some countries the Navigator name is not a seperate brand but an ESP model range. Company originally founded in Tokyo in 1975 under the Electric Sound Products name and was orignally a repair shop, a PA rental outfit and a supplier of guitar parts and is still to a degree a supplier of guitar parts and whole guitars as an OEM.
