USA based company that manufactures strings, manuscript paper and cables for musical instruments alongside guitar related accessories under the D'Addario, Bowed and Planet Waves brands, drumheads and percussion accessories under the Evans, Puresound percussion and HQ Percussion names but in the last case the company no longer uses it much and prefers to use SoundOff instead for the same product line. Also makes mouthpieces and reeds for clarinets and saxophones under the Rico, Frederick L. Hemke and Mitchell Lurie brands. The company has also branched into the home hifi/theatre and installation markets under the Planet Waves Custom Install Solutions (CIS) label.

Daiwa Mark Co.
Japanese company that manufacture parts for guitars and related instruments, this includes everything from nuts through fret-boards to end pins but the company remains best known for parts made out of wood such as guitar endpins, purflings and rosettes. Their parts are sold under the DoMo brand but in addition to wholesaling products the company holds out a guitar parts retail store in their native Nagoya and manufacture an loudspeaker under the JUO brand, this is an interesting model actually, it is a single ended loudspeaker built into an acoustic guitar body, roughly where the soundhole should be and utilises the resonance characteristics of the guitar body. Note that their homepage is entierly in Japanese.
