Two German gentlemen that run an on-line guitar parts store under the Vintage-Pickups.com name, an on-line guitar accessories store under the Red Dog Music name that includes some own branded products, in addition to running a local guitar store and manufacturing high end guitar parts & custom made guitars under the Kortmann Guitars brand. The store also handles guitar repairs and used to sell sundry accessories and hardware under the Homann Music name but they have by now been rebranded as Red Dog. Hr. Kortmann used to be one half of Bingenheimer & Kortmann BTW.

The comany did sell brass instruments under the Franklin name at the least since the 40's, recorders and accordions under the Weiss brand and flutes and piccolos under the La Paree name and accordions under the Cortini name, and for a short while in the 70's products were offered under the more "hip" Mad Cat and Head brands.

USA based builder of custom guitars, makes both acoustic and electric models and lap steels as well, as with many such builder he usually has a few models in stock in addition to his custom work. Usually trades as Wallace Custom Guitars and the headstocks are marked Wallace. Please note that when his pages present "classical" acoustic guitars, they are referring to about steel string guitars that look like the gut sting Western/German style guitars of yesteryear, not Classical guitars in the common meaning.

Japanese manufacturer of high end electric guitars, basses, effect and preamp pedals and related accessories, all sold under the Atelier Z trademark. The company was for a long time an electric bass specialist and to a degree still is, but in the west they are as well known for their see-through guitar straps as they are for their instruments, which is a shame.
