Discontinued DJ mixers

Home Mix

The company introduced the Mix-1 in 2001 and although it had an RRP of 79.99 UKP it actually retailed for much less and was in fact the cheapest “proper DJ mixer” available in the UK at the time (i.e. it had both a crossfader and phono inputs). The specification is extremely basic, 2 input channels that can be switched between phono and line level and pre-amp gain/trim control for each channel, 3x 45mm faders, 2x channel faders plus a removable crossfader. Separate microphone channel with talkover and a front mounted input jack, headphone out and LED indicators for each channel, however there are only 5 LED’s per channel so not as useful as it might seem at first. Taken out of sale in ca. 2005, but by that time it was primarily available as a part of bundles like the Home Mix TT2000M.

The Mix-2 was introduced in 2003 as an even cheaper alternative to the Mix1 and was bundled by the company with their Home Mix TT1000M kit that was their cheapest DJ turntable bundle at the time. It is for all intents and purposes the same unit as the Mix-1 but sacrifices the LED VU metering for EQ on the input channels, which makes it one of the few products in the world where the cheaper model is actually more functional than the more expensive option. Discontinued around 2007.
